Categories of Applicants allowed as “Walk-In with ARN” Following mentioned categories of applicants are allowed as "Walk-in applicants". (These walk-in categories are not applicable for Tatkaal Applications. Please note below walk-ins will be entertained at Thane Psk between 9:00am to 10:30am only). Applicants falling under these categories need to register Online, fill in the online application form and generate Application Reference Number (ARN) at least one day in advance before visiting the PSK. Such applicants may visit the PSK with required set of documents and a copy of printed ARN sheet.  Applicants for issue of Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) (between 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM only). Applications for deletion of ECR status in Passports without change in personal particulars Minors,below the age of 18 years, who apply for passport under Minor category & whose parent(s) hold valid passport(s) with spouse name duly endorsed. Senior Citizens (above 60 years) Physically challenged applicants (including visually impaired, deaf and mute reporting with certificate) Applicants with 20 Year Validity Passports/Valid Passports seeking new Passports in case of exhaustion of visa pages (without change in personal particulars) Applicants from Thane, Navi Mumbai and Raigad can apply in PSK Nashik as an additional option. Applicants can visit RPO Thane for enquiry between 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM only on all working days. Note PSK Nashik Applicants : Applicants who had submitted their application at PSK Nashik but are kept ON-HOLD due to incomplete documentation(s) are requested to visit in Person at PSK Nashik between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM only, with effective from 17th June 2013 on any working day with all  required original documents including Fee Receipt, Acknowledgement Letter etc. NOTE : For files on Hold, applicant should complete the necessary procedure within 365 days of the Application Date or the application will be considered  Null and Void and fees will be forfeited. The applicant will have to take fresh appointment to apply for Passport. Applicants please note that Jumbo booklets are temporarily not available, as it is in the process of technical upgradation. Starting 16th August 2011, Tatkaal applications are being accepted at Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), Trichy, temporarily due to administrative reasons. Normal applications for Fresh/Reissue and Miscellaneous services will continue to be accepted at both Trichy and Thanjavur PSKs. All Tatkaal applicants are requested to first visit RPO Office at Marakadai for preliminary screening of their documents.

Grievances from those who have not received their passport or any intimation even after 45days of application will be entertained in the Adalat. Interested applicants may register themselves by sending in their grievances in writing along with Name, Address, File Number and Date of Application, in an envelope marked 'Passport Adalat'. The Adalat application may be submitted to the Passport Officer, S.N.S.M. Building, Kaithamukku, Trivandrum-695024 either personally or by post so as to reach the ofice by Tuesday, 28.05.2013.
