Passport Office, Jalandhar started functioning from September, 1979. It caters to seven districts viz Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahar, Batala, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and Kapurthala. The Main office of RPO Jalandhar and all the three PSK's under its jurisdiction starts their functioning from 09:00am to 5:30pm with lunch break 01:00pm to 1:30pm.

Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at Passport Seva Kendra(s) under this Passport Office. Click herefor details.
As due to sufficient/ample availability of the Appointments in Jalandhar RPO walk-in scenarios are not been allowed as a Direct walkin, however citizens need to book appointment and visit Psks.
Applicants can visit Regional Passport Office (RPO) Jalandhar for enquiry between 09.00 AM to 01.00 PM and 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM on all working days.
w.e.f. November,2013 all the applicants of districts Hoshiarpur and Pathankot are advised to visit the Hoshiarpur PSK for Passport/PCC applications with the relevant set of documents.
