Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at Passport Seva Kendra(s) under this Passport Office. Click here for details.
  1. Categories of Applicants allowed as “Walk-In with ARN”

    Following mentioned categories of applicants are allowed as “Walk-in Applicants”. Applicants falling under these categories need to register Online, fill in the online application form and generate Application Reference Number (ARN) at least one day in advance before visiting the PSK. Such applicants may visit the PSK with required set of documents and a copy of printed ARN sheet preferably before 1:00 PM
    1. Applicants for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
    2. Applicants for Deletion of ECR status in passports without any change in personal particulars
    3. Inclusion of name of spouse in passport
    4. Applicants with valid passports, seeking new booklets in case of exhaustion of visa pages
    5. Senior Citizens (above 60 years)
    6. Minors below 15 years of age whose parents hold valid passports
    7. Physically challenged persons and
    8. Central / State Government servants, their spouses and dependant minor children who have " No Objection Certificate" / Identity Certificate

    2. Senior Citizen (60 years & above)
    3. Applicants for Tatkaal services
    4. Minors below 15 years of age whose parents hold valid passports
    5. Deletion of ECR status in passports without any change in personal particulars
    6. Physically challenged applicants

RPO Surat had decided to have a Passport Mela on 27th April, 2013 at Surat Passport Seva Kendra, with Online Appointments only for Normal Category (Tatkaal, PCC, Minors and other Walk-In category application will not be entertained on that day). Appoinments would be released on 25th April (Thursday), 2013 at 1 PM. Applicants are requested to come with Printout of Application Reference Number (ARN) sheet mentioning Appointment details, with all required set of Original documents and along with 1 set of Self Attested Photocopy.
  3. W.e.f  01st July 2013, Applicants who have been given the option to visit the PSK in next three working days T+ 3 from the date of appointment, Files kept on hold for requirement of documents and PCC collection will happen between 09.30 am to 11.00 am only.

  1. Categories of Applicants allowed as “Walk-In with ARN”

    Following mentioned categories of applicants are allowed as "Walk-in applicants". (These walk-in categories are not applicable for Tatkaal Applications. Please note below walk-ins will be entertained at Thane Psk between 9:00am to 10:30am only). Applicants falling under these categories need to register Online, fill in the online application form and generate Application Reference Number (ARN) at least one day in advance before visiting the PSK. Such applicants may visit the PSK with required set of documents and a copy of printed ARN sheet. 
    1. Applicants for issue of Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) (between 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM only).
    2. Applications for deletion of ECR status in Passports without change in personal particulars
    3. Minors,below the age of 18 years, who apply for passport under Minor category & whose parent(s) hold valid passport(s) with spouse name duly endorsed.
    4. Senior Citizens (above 60 years)
    5. Physically challenged applicants (including visually impaired, deaf and mute reporting with certificate)
    6. Applicants with 20 Year Validity Passports/Valid Passports seeking new Passports in case of exhaustion of visa pages (without change in personal particulars)
  2. Applicants from Thane, Navi Mumbai and Raigad can apply in PSK Nashik as an additional option.
  3. Applicants can visit RPO Thane for enquiry between 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM only on all working days.
  4. Note PSK Nashik Applicants : Applicants who had submitted their application at PSK Nashik but are kept ON-HOLD due to incomplete documentation(s) are requested to visit in Person at PSK Nashik between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM only, with effective from 17th June 2013 on any working day with all  required original documents including Fee Receipt, Acknowledgement Letter etc.
NOTE :
  1. For files on Hold, applicant should complete the necessary procedure within 365 days of the Application Date or the application will be considered  Null and Void and fees will be forfeited. The applicant will have to take fresh appointment to apply for Passport.
  2. Applicants please note that Jumbo booklets are temporarily not available, as it is in the process of technical upgradation. However applicants may choose 36 pages normal booklet and pay the fees accordingly. Inconvenience is highly regretted.
