Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at Passport Seva Kendra(s) under this Passport Office. Click herefor details.
  1. Categories of Applicants allowed as “Walk-In with ARN”

    With effect from 01.08.2014, only following categories of applicants are allowed as “Walk-in Applicants”. Applicants falling under these categories need to register online, fill/submit application form online and generate Application Reference Number (ARN) at least one day in advance before visiting the PSK. Such applicants may visit the PSK with required set of documents and a copy of printed ARN sheet from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM only. Applicants will be accommodated in limited number as per the serving capacity and on first come first serve basis.
    1. Applicants for issue of Police clearance Certificate (PCC)
    2. Senior Citizens (above 60 years)
    3. Physically challenged persons

    NOTE: Online appointment is MANDATORY for applicants belonging to all other categories and they need to take appointment online and visit PSK only as per date and time of their appointment.
  2. Refused token applicants – Applicants who are refused token due to lack of necessary documents can re-visit PSK within next 3 working days as per the time slot mentioned in the appointment slip, subject to their Appointment Sheet is duly endorsed by APO/PSK in-Charge during their visit to PSK on the appointment date and time. However, after three working days appointment will be mandatory for such applicants.
  3. On Hold files - Applicants whose applications are put on hold at any stage for want of any document may also visit PSK to complete the process of hold files without appointment between 9:30 AM to 01:00 PM only.
  4. For passport of Minor children - Physical presence of Parents:
    1. In case none of the parent has the passport then both should be physically present with their ID Proofs.
    2. If only one of the parents holds a valid passport but other does not, then the parent who does not hold passport should be physically present along with the original passport of other parent, and
    3. If both the parents are having passports, then any one parent can be present with both parents' passports (in original) while submitting the application for minor child.
    4. Tatkaal passport without Annexure F: Please note that passport in case of Tatkal application submitted on the basis of three  out of sixteen documents (instead of Annexure F) will be issued after confirmation of genuineness of the three documents from issuing authority or on receipt of clear police verification report. In such cases, issuance of passport may take much more time than prescribed under tatkaal category in order to confirm the genuineness of three documents where status of documents is not available online and because of procedural requirement passport office will not be responsible for delay. Therefore, applicants who are in urgent need of passport are advised to apply for tatkaal with Annexure F instead of three documents.
    5. Public Enquiry Days in Passport Office: For any problem/information relating to applications already submitted, instead of visiting PSK, applicants may visit Regional Passport Office, located at CGO Complex-1, Hapur Chungi Road, Kamala Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad between 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays identified as enquiry days. No enquiry service will be available after 1:00 PM and on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
